Jose Luis Guerra
Mr. Guerra has been involved in horse racing all his life and brings more than 18 years of significant equine management experience to WARSTONE. He purchased his first racehorse at the age of 16 and won his first race in 1990. Since that time he has been an owner, breeder, assistant trainer, bloodstock agent, pedigree researcher and auctioneer. He has campaigned over 100 horses during this time.
Mr. Guerra has a JD from Northwestern School of Law and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management from which he graduated Cum Laude. He is licensed to practice law in both the US and in Mexico. After school he took a job working for the law firm Cravath, Swaine and Moore in their Mergers and Acquisitions department and latter in their Latin American practice. Currently he practices law in-house for an important global investment bank. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Fordham University School of Law.
